Lecherous Nocturne/Behold Almighty Doctrine/Unique Leader/2013 CD Review

Lecherous  Nocturne  are  a  band  from  South  Carolina  that  plays  a  very  heavy,  brutal,  and  technical  form  of  blackened  death  metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2013  album  "Behold  Almighty  Doctrine"  which  was  released  by  Unique  leader.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  a  great  amount  of  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being  thrown  into  the  music,  while  the  bass  playing  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  riffing  that  are  coming  out  of  the  guitars,  as  for  the  pianos  they  are  only  used  briefly  and  they  bring  a  very  dark  and  classical  music  sound  to  the  recording.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  death  metal  riffs  that  are  very  heavy,  technical  and  brutal  sounding  with  a  great  amount  of  grindcore  and  black  metal  influences  being  thrown  into  the  riffing  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

Vocals  are  mostly  deep  death  metal  growls  with  some  high  pitched  screams  being  utilized  at  times  ,  while  the  lyrics  cover  dark  and  philosophical  themes,  as  for  the  production  it h as  a  very  strong,  powerful,  heavy  and  professional  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Lecherous  Nocturne  are  a  very  great  sounding  heavy,  brutal  and  technical  death  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out t his  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Ouroboros  Chains"  "Those  Have  Been  Hiding  Away"  "Caustic  Vertigo"  and  "Creation  Continuum".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
