Cambion are an international band with members from both Germany and the United States that plays a blackened form of death metal and this is a review of their 2015 demo "Unfold Chaos Supreme" which was re-issued on cd by Lavadome Productions.
A very fast and brutla blackened death metal sound starts off the demo along with some blast beats and a good mixture of screams and growls and you can also hear some melodies in the guitar riffing at times while the solos and leads remain true to a blackened death metal style and the music also gets technical at times.
Throughout the recording the songs mostly stick to a very fast and brutal style and one song also brings in a brief use of sex samples and all of the musical instruments have a very powerful sound to them and as the ep progresses some of the songs bring in a decent mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts.
Cambion plays a musical style that takes black metal and brutal death metal and mixes them together to create a very heavy sounding recording, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover violence, chaos and Occultism themes.
In my opinion Cambion are a very great sounding blackened death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this demo. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Bend The Knee (To Molech)" and "Perfected Aggressor". 8 out of 10.
