- We are a Heavy Metal band from Santa Fe, Argentina.
Axe Steeler on guitars, Ripping Corpse on drums, and Bütcher on bass and vocals, who is talking to you.

2.So far you have released an ep, how would you describe the musical sound that is presented on the recording?

- The style is quite old school, we wanted to achieve a sound similar to the 80's recordings

3.What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the music?

- The lyrics talk about heavy metal, horror movies, and dark topics from art to mysticism, old school stuff.

4.What is the meaning and inspiration behind the name 'Witchnight'?

- I like mythology and witch stories. And how they are always rooted in the force of nature, the mysticism and the unknown

5.What are some of the best shows that the band has played so far and also how would you describe your stage performance?

Every show has been good for us, and  we try to give the best of us up the stage.

6.Do you have any touring or show plans for the future?

- We are touring our country now. Next year we may go to Chile. Also we got offers to play in other counties.

7. Originally the ep was released on 'Tantafobia Records', can you tell us a little bit more about this label?

- It is a label from Ecuador that was the first interested in editing our EP in Cassette format.
They work with underground metal, Black / Death / Thrash Metal, South American bands.

8. On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of black and speed metal?

Very good. For example this year I went to Sweden and there were people there, who already knew the band, and had the ep released by Witches Brew.

9.On the ep you had also done a 'Retrosatan' cover, what was the decision behind doing your own version of one of their songs?

- RetroSatan is a very important influence for me, and I decided to make them a humble homage, with one of my favorite songs from their album.

10.Are any of the band members currently involved with any other bands or musical projects these days?

Yes, I have another band of black thrash metal, called Municion and also I play in the Greek band, Metalmorfosis. The drummer and guitarist are brothers,
they have a thrash metal band called Psicocancer.

11.When can we expect a full length album and also where do you see the band heading into musically during the future?

Hopefully next year we'll record the full length album. We'll keep our style, insane and evil speed metal.

12.What are some of the bands or musical styles that have had an influence on your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

The metal from the 80's is a pure influence to our music.
Also I listen to punk, AOR, Hard rock, 50's rock, 60's, 70's, post punk, new wave, stoner doom, and many other things.

13.How would you describe your views on Occultism?

- Is a complex subject to answer in an interview. But I see the possible of making true art and philosophy inspired in the occultism
